With more than 20 years of experience in Caribbean waters, Mickey Charteris will host complimentary talks to educate resort guests on the fascinating underwater world located around the resort in the southern corner of the island. These informative, fun lectures are available to divers and non-divers alike. Scuba divers might experience first-hand the natural spectacle of the annual coral spawning.
Mickey Charteris will be guest lecturer at Anse Chastanet Resort and Scuba St.Lucia from August 13-27, 2022. Featuring daily presentations and workshops, guests will learn about the art of underwater photography, understanding feeding strategies, fish friendships and even reproductive strategies of the species that inhabit the reef. Mickey’s book ‘Caribbean Reef Life’ has sold over 100,000 copies and is now in its third edition.
Scuba divers who stay at Anse Chastanet between 21st-23rd August might experience the beauty of the annual Coral Spawning, an unforgettable natural spectacle. Mickey Charteris will be on-hand to answer guests’ questions and explain the importance of this annual event in maintaining the future of the ecosystem.
